Bellingham Cold Storage is looking for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor who has a strong commercial/industrial electrical background.

In addition to any other job requirements, Bellingham Cold Storage requires applicants to pass a drug screening. Please note that if you have been smoking marijuana, please don't bother to apply. While we realize it is now legal to smoke it, you can't do so if you want to work at BCS. Our drug test is able to tell when synthetic urine is being used for the test. Thank you!

Maintenance Supervisor

Bellingham Cold Storage is looking for a full-time Maintenance Supervisor who has a strong commercial/industrial electrical background. A successful candidate should have:

A minimum of 5 years on the job experience as a maintenance / construction person. They must possess mechanical skills in all, but not limited to, welding and metal cutting, equipment fabrication, high and low voltage electrical troubleshooting, electronics troubleshooting, electric motor overhaul and replacement, Standard plumbing skills to include, steel, copper and PVC plastic pipe and associated fittings. They must possess general knowledge of all tools needed to perform the above work. They must possess excellent people and supervisory skills. They must remain drug free and must report to work on time and free of drugs or alcoholic influence. They must be appropriately dressed in a manner consistent with good personal hygiene and with clothing appropriate and consistent with the job to be performed. They must be willing to work overtime when it is necessary in his/her area. They must be self-motivated; able to work on their own and also be able to encourage their maintenance team to be self-motivated as well. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and supervisory skills. They will also possess computer skills such that they can use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. They shall possess a valid driver's license (in good standing without major or multiple violations).

The job includes some overtime and weekend work however you'll have approx. 85% of the weekends throughout the year free.

Wages: $24.67-$26/hr. Annual increases would take place over the next five years. Plus a profit based annual bonus each year.

Maintenance Technician

A minimum of 3 years on the job experience in the maintenance/construction field.
