Customer of the Quarter:   Bill Dignon of Northern Products, a supplier of salmon and halibut from SE Alaska. Night shift: Matt Mulder, Sergio Mendez, Ursela Heay and Javier Garcia on coffee break. Night shift:  Keith Farmer taking a rest from the forklift. The IS Department has made major upgrades to the computer system recently.  Above: 30 scanners after software upgrades.

BCS unloaded over 1,000 MT Argentinian squid from the Frio Kyknos in early April. The squid is packed in 30 lb bags, and will be used as bait for the Alaska longline fishing  industry. Sally the Sea Lion seems to be guarding Tridents salmon tender, "the Beaver". Eagle on the Webcam.
 

ESL (English as a Second Language) Classes

On this assignmnet, the ESL class used its English skills to shop for, then cook a meal: Virgilio Cruz, Javier Garcia, Rigoberto Sagatsume. Jeanne Schmitt participates in the cooking class with Rigoberto Sagatsume. The graduating class and certificates of completion.
 

Warehouse 6 Repairs

Modifications made to the racking system. A new catwalk installed around the air handling units (for safety and ease of maintenance). Replacing all the old valves and fittings. Duane Hill welding.

New ammonia piping being dropped into place.  Eventually this piping will connect engine rooms 1 and 2. Engineer Dick Danlicker feeds the pipe through a window in the warehouse wall. Over 200 feet of the piping was pulled through and welded together in the ceiling joists.
