BCS's daily storage billing system charges customers only for the specific number of days their product is in storage. In most cases, the daily storage system will result in significant savings compared to "split-month storage" systems used by other cold storages. Split-Month Storage

Most other cold storages use a split-month storage system: Product that goes into storage on any day prior to the 15th of the month is charged for the whole month of storage, even though the product was not in storage the full 30 days. Product arriving after the 15th is generally charged for a half month. Furthermore, unless the product is removed during the first 3 days of the final month of storage, the product is charged for that entire month.

Daily Storage

At BCS, however, the daily storage system charges only for the actual days product is in storage. On average, BCS customers realize a 15% savings on their storage costs. For short term storage of less than 30 days, the savings can be even more significant.
