2019 BCS job fair set for April 26 and 27

March 21, 2019

Now is your chance to get paid while you train for a great, marketable skill – forklift driving!

That’s right, BCS will train you to be a forklift driver! We are hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 26 and 27, 2019, at our waterfront facility at 2825 Roeder Ave. in Bellingham. Please come, enjoy a donut and a cup of coffee, apply for the job, and have an instant interview with members of our team.

When you choose BCS as your employer, you become part of an industry-leading cold chain logistics company. What is cold chain logistics? Simply put, we help local food producers store perishable products – berries, fish, vegetables – in warehouse-sized cold rooms and freezers until they are ready to ship to customers in the U.S. and around the globe.

New drivers go through a robust forklift driver training program that helps them gain valuable job skills while working on our warehousing team. Many seasonal forklift hires stay on for year-round work, earning good incomes while growing in their responsibilities.

Want to get paid daily overtime? You can earn 1.5 times your hourly wage when you work more than eight hours in a day.

Want to earn a great wage? Hourly wages at Bellingham Cold Storage escalate based on the number of hours you’ve worked.

Want to have advancement opportunities? BCS team members are encouraged to learn and grow in their careers. There are opportunities for continuing education, peer mentorship and even leadership roles for those with a strong work ethic and a passion for the industry.

If you’re looking to join a professional, forward-thinking and sophisticated company, drop by Bellingham Cold Storage’s job fair Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, in Bellingham.
