Peter Pan Seafood, a company with deep Alaska roots, operates with a vision to be a renowned Alaska company producing sustainable seafood for the benefit of oceans and people. Through customer devotion, superb operational execution, and working cooperatively with key stakeholders, the company’s mission is to become an exemplary global supplier of top-quality and responsibly sourced seafood.
The company’s values include supporting its fleet with the best services possible, listening, and mutual respect with communities and being purposeful in all actions, among others. Peter Pan Seafood came under new, American ownership in January 2021 and since then has been delivering on its promises — adding more value-added products, making capital investments in its facilities, growing its workforce and more. The company has experienced tremendous growth over the last two years. It has grown revenues by 240%, purchases by 225% and the capital investments it has made in its facilities have doubled production.
Peter Pan Seafood started doing business with BCS in the early 1970’s, when it was part of the Maruha Nichiro Corporation. In 2021 the company was transferred to Northwest Fish Company LLC, under Rodger May’s leadership.
