NEW FEATURE
WebOPTICS Order Entry allows you to directly enter domestic shipping orders
from your WebOPTICS login. This is more efficient, accurate, and convenience
than our domestic shipping order form.
Benefits
Efficiency: Orders will be entered into Optics directly. No waiting
for manual order entry by BCS traffic employee.
Accuracy: Eliminating manual entry into Optics reduces
errors that happen in the order entry process.
Convenience: Enter orders directly from your WebOptics
login with lot autocompletion, special instructions
entry, and order requirements such as custom
labeling or temperature recorders.
Details
ORDER INFO
Basic order information can be entered in the order info section.
A BCS order number will be automatically assigned when the order is submitted.
SUPPLIER
The supplier section allows for entering your contact information and the name
of the carrier.
SHIP TO
Information about the shipping destination is entered in the “ship to” section. This allows for specifying who’s going to be receiving the shipment, their contact phone number, and address.
ORDER OPTIONS
The order options section enables you to enter special instructions, shipment method (truck, rail, boat, or pickup), or special requirements like temperature recorders. The special instructions field is sent directly to your BCS traffic representative and the carrier instructions are printed directly on the bill of lading.
LOT NUMBER
Line item entry is easy with lot number autocompletion and automatic weight calculation.
Lot descriptions are automatically pulled from our records.
